Despite all the positive reviews. There are 2 very important reviews to watch out for. The first is the one that mentions that it won't fit in a draft box without modification. I also found that part of the valve body had to be removed to fit the hole. I used a dremel and adjusted it. This is of course not ideal as it will void any warranty or return option. (I used a dremel on the valve, NOT a wall box for rough handling.) The second key review mentions the lack of hot water compared to the OEM valve. This is not due to a misconfiguration of the burn protection control. I preheated mine as much as possible and it still wasn't hot. only warm Just enough to feel comfortable but not refreshingly warm. I've found it useful in getting my shower working again, but I'll be ordering an OEM valve and replacing that valve with one when it arrives.
