I bought these brushes with my Mehron makeup palette and was so happy with them. The larger brush is ideal for wider areas, while the finer brushes with narrower tips are ideal for fine lines and detail work. They are easy to clean. Just apply a little soap to the tip and lather and rinse. However, do not wet the brush further than the chrome as this may cause problems in the future. I've ruined brushes in the past without remembering how I washed them. In the past I've been so careless that I've just thrown all my brushes in a basin of warm soapy water - wooden brushes and all. Yes, I know it's not smart. You are absolutely right if you think so. But experience is the best teacher. That's how I learned to be very careful when cleaning the bristles of my brushes - to prolong their life. Yes, I would recommend these brushes. And the price is very fair. Namaste.
