2.5 stars. Could have been a 5 star blade if it lasted. I'm usually a big fan of Frueds blades. I have almost every type of blade they make. I paid a decent sum for this knife and initially it was great. Cuts like butter. Glade I waited before writing my review. My problem relates to the durability of the blade. The tooth broke before we finished the first pallet of Hardie siding. Another tooth is broken and chipped. The blade was only used to cut 3/16 Hardie siding, nothing else. The picture shows that this blade is used up. We're the kind of guys that babysit our tools. Pila on the photo is 15 years old and works like a champ. So we didn't do anything to the blade. I could go to a big store and buy cheaper blades and get the same results.
