Review on 🧶 Alize Blanket-EZ Yarn in Bright Red by Bernat by Wendy Rodriguez

I ran out of yarn for my blanket project and was very happy to find the same multicolored variety at Revain. I bought 3 skeins and was looking forward to receiving them within a few days and being able to continue my project. Received them today and was dismayed to find that all three are a completely different shade of purple to the skeins previously purchased from Wal-Mart, even though the color and style should have been the same. I was expecting to be able to smoothly blend the new yarn, but I can't even use it because it would completely change the look of my quilt. My husband helped me see from the packaging that Revain was selling old batches of yarn from late 2018. , which appears to have used a different shade of purple compared to the yarn batches from early 2019. It's not really anyone's fault but I'm still only giving it 3 stars because overall I'm not happy with the outcome of my purchase and will be buying more skeins elsewhere to finish my quilt.
