It contains your basic equipment and some cute patterns. The problem is that templates aren't for absolute beginners. There is good information for beginners, but no templates. I also suggest that you make these patterns on the short needles you have. You'll need to add a few patterns for beginners and a circular needle for larger projects. I'm surprised a company like Boye has done this. My grandmother used Boye hooks and needles.
