Yes! No WLAN! on Blu-ray players and recorders

I'm staying at a quaint Country Inn while my home is renovated. Yes. This is analogue TV and one of the last in the hotel. They promised to turn it off so I could try the Blu Ray, but they won't have it here in time for me to claim the review bonus. However, based on other reviews and the picture quality I'm seeing now - even on an analog TV - I'm sure I'll be satisfied. I bought these because I have several Blu-ray DVDs and haven't had a chance to play them. She. I'm glad this unit doesn't have wifi - a big plus for me and the reason I went for it. (I have arrhythmias and headaches from cell phones and WiFi) The picture is clear. Only problem is the display isn't big enough for those old eyes and the remote is tiny and designed differently than other remotes I've used. I have yet to find a way to play at 0.8 or 1.2 speed, which is what I use sometimes, but it seems to have all the other features. Again - VERY grateful for the DVD Blu-ray Player without Wi-Fi and I can't wait to try it in other formats.
