I wish I had known about this product two years ago when I bought my OBI200. I used a powerline device to create an ethernet jack in the basement near the phone jack. This adapter allowed me to replace the ethernet cable and powerline device by connecting the OBI directly to Wi-Fi. When I first plugged it in, I doubted it would work. After about a minute, the Wi-Fi network setup didn't appear, but with a little patience it did, and I was able to configure this adapter without much difficulty. I haven't noticed any changes in call quality after switching to this Wi-Fi adapter.
