Exceeds expectations. Works just as well as the charger that came with my new 2020 Tesla Model 3. Also loads faster. The charger delivers real 40A to the car. However, if I set the Tesla to accept 40 amps, the charger should put out about 42 amps (there is IR leakage somewhere). So I set the Tesla to 38 amps, which gives me about 36 mph for the car. Setting the current on the Tesla above 38 amps will result in an error code on the charger. The charger has an LED display with visual display of error codes. I waited a few months before posting this review just to give the charger time to get it wrong. No problem and I use it to charge 2 or 3 times a week.
