Review on 📶 Belkin N600 DB F9L1101 Wireless Dual-Band USB Adapter - High-Speed up to 300Mbps (Black) by Justin Abreu

The Belkin N600 DB picked up a strong 2.4GHz and 5GHz signal as soon as I plugged it in. Signal strength was better than my previous Netgear product. The adapter worked fine for 4 months and then I had 2 days of signal loss and connectivity issues. After 2 days of problems, my Windows 7 computer told me that the adapter was not installed. I contacted Belkin Technical Support after trying the adapter on 4 other computers (Win 7 32 and 64, Win Vista and Ubuntu Linux 13.10) but the operating system did not recognize the connected USB adapter. Technical support asked many questions and confirmed that the product is indeed under warranty. I was told I would have to call customer service to get an RMA. Support actually took the call after a 48 minute wait (I was told there was a 10 minute wait) and spent 3 minutes telling me to email them the purchase confirmation. I was told that I would be contacted when my purchase confirmation was confirmed and they would then process the RMA. To date (02/10/2014) I have not heard anything for 9 days. In short I would only recommend buying this adapter if you throw it away if it breaks as the customer service is pretty poor. *UPDATE* 2/13/14: So after calling support and hearing music on hold for another 45 minutes, I called the manager and asked him to confirm that I had a valid receipt and issue an RMA. The adapter is sent back to them and I am waiting for them to send it back.
