I have these mufflers for a 1973 Cougar Convertible ordered. I didn't want to "buzz" in the cab at highway speeds with the top down. They are pretty quiet, definitely not loud. They sound very similar to what I think the stock mufflers will be on the car. Some soft rumble. The Cougar is equipped with a stock exhaust. Reasonable price. Much luck!
