Hair Dryer Kit arrived this morning just 4 days after ordering - very cheap shipping. I ordered this because I have French doors with old cracked peeling paint as well as a couple of kitchen drawers in similar condition that I want to strip down to bare wood for polishing. The closet doors and front door have already been treated with a propane torch which is quick but dangerous and will char the wood in places. I connected the gun and after a few seconds it started to warm up, the paint bubbled in 1-2 seconds - in a few minutes I easily removed the paint from an area of 3"x18" - without charring. It could be a few degrees warmer but that's ok for what I need. The wide-mouth nozzle helps improve hot air delivery to the right spots for paint removal. It's quiet, lightweight and easy to use - unlike a flashlight! Comes with a paint scraper attachment (but a spatula is better) plus an additional paint scraper with a wooden handle and 5 different blades - a nice bonus. Also included was a black hard plastic case for carrying the gun and accessories. It doesn't have a kickstand, but it's designed so you can lay it flat on your back with the hot tip pointing up, which works but isn't very stable. The heat gun is HT 1000 model but the picture shows HT1100 but the specs are the same which is strange. I'm very happy with the gun and the set - and the price as long as it works! Probably not a tool for constant hard work.
