I read the reviews ad nauseam before deciding on this one. Our cat just got a haircut and she flew away under this cone as soon as we put her down. The only way she could wear that cone would be if I kept her for the entire 2 weeks of recovery. Most importantly, she couldn't take it off. After a few hours she was fine again. It didn't exist in her mind. This protected her from stitches after the operation. I like that it's light. The wound healed without incident. If it was a heavy suit, it could cause healing issues. After a few days she was pretty much back to normal and seemed to be really enjoying it. We bought 2 thinking going to the tray might be a disaster. That has never been a problem. This is a quality product that excels in every way. After a 2 week healing period we took it off and put it in the laundry basket. The next morning she took them out and put them in a basket. A lot of time has passed and she still carries one of these around the house. I rarely give 5 stars for anything. Good product!
