I'm a bit shocked that it doesn't work with an induction cooker. I bought it direct from Jake&Leo through Revain. Also the welds and side logo are of good quality so I don't consider it fake. Magnet Test: The instructions and description specifically state that it will work with an induction cooker. I thought maybe it was my oven. So I checked it with a magnet and it doesn't stick to the bottom or the sides. If the magnet doesn't stick or pull, the kettle can't be induced. Design: In terms of design and durability, it looks great. The dark dimpled case really gives it a nice look. Design wise it looks better compared to the Hario teapot and the handle feels solid and fits my hand perfectly. The spout looks more expressive and elegant than the Hario teapot due to the curvature and the narrow spout. Functionality: nose too high. I have to tilt the kettle almost to the point where the water just pours from the top to pour out the spout. This can be good as it makes me water slowly. The tip of the spout is too sharp because the metal tip is not rounded. I gave it one star because it doesn't support induction. The kettle is nice but if I can't boil water it's useless. I will ask my son if I can trade my old Hario kettle for him. If not, then unfortunately I have to send it back.
