Exactly what the doctor ordered

I did NOT buy this to drive studs in the wall to run cables through my house. Having recently built a new house, we instead found that we wanted to add some low voltage lighting to the outside of the house. What I hadn't planned on doing was running a conduit under the front brick steps to run the low voltage wires from side to side. Here it played its part. I dug a shallow trench on one side of the ladder and attached this drill to my drill press. This piece cleared up the floor under the stairs fairly quickly so I could then run plastic tubing underneath. Running the low voltage cables through the line was a breeze. I could not have done this job without this drill. It was flexible enough to help me drill a nice, level path under the stairs to complete the job. Although the bottom is relatively sandy here, I had no problem getting that bit dull. I intend to use it again for a few more low voltage runs under the driveway. I am very happy with this purchase.
