Nice real-time saver.

About because it was the only one that had a tip/tooth. How someone else remembered the teeth on those cast things. As a result, the surface on them is very rough, and unless you file and smooth them, they will stick to the skin and be difficult to remove. But like any other cutting tool, when you first get it you need to clean it up a bit to make it work properly, so it's not a big problem, I think they would have sanded and polished it before shipping as well and then us more about that. I can do it myself. The rest of the stuff that went with it I imagine just tossing in a drawer somewhere and forgetting, but the pincushion is actually quite good and useful. I got out all my big sewing tomato needles that I inherited from my mom and put them in this beautiful wooden case. I haven't touched Temka yet, I don't know if it's good or not. Pliers are the bomb for digging. I make the headrests from Western Pleasure and the headrests are hand stitched and I used an awl to poke holes in the leather so I could sew them on. It's much easier to use. Now all I need are triangle tips and my day is done :-)

Pros
  • Punching and punching
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
