. I didn't have a thick gas smell as the only symptom, rather my entire regulator started leaking on my 2002 around the big round pinch next to a vacuum leak. century since 3.1 v6. The part works great and looks the same as the OEM part, except for the color which on this part was fully covered in shiny silver, my OEM part looked like the picture color or bronze color. On my last attempt to free the old regulator, I broke the hard plastic PCV line, a part that I had to replace at the dealer. Now everything works fine, for a couple of months there has been no flow and no smell. However, my gas mileage hasn't changed despite having other issues, so I'm not worried. The part was shipped in an OEM AC Delco box just like the dealer.
