This set is for children from 3 to 14 years, but there is no size selection. The S set (at least that's what I got) and judging by how it fits my 6 year old daughter it only fits 3-6 year olds. It will not fit older children unless they have very small bodies and heads or you can find M or L sizes from other sellers. Aside from the size, the set is of average quality, the fabrics and plastics used should do the job. for which the pads are intended. I would recommend this set if the size is right for your child. There may be better pads out there, but I'm not sure they can be as affordable as these.
