Review on 💦 Efficient Performance: Hitachi WUP0009 Engine Water Pump for Maximum Pumping Power by Rafael Lee

The water pump is similar to the original factory fitted car. Perfect fit for my 2006 Chevy Malibu LT 3.5L. Hearing noises from my own water pump and a loose spindle, I searched for what was best for my machine. I found this Hitachi water pump looks like the original ACDelco 251-671 with gasket and bolts at half the price! But the Revain website shows it doesn't fit the 2006 Malibu, even though it's the only round water pump shape possible! I found the Hitachi catalog on the internet and what do you think? Yes, it fits Malibu and some other cars. The GM part number has been chiselled and the black paint has been scraped off for aftermarket sale! Installation took about 1 hour in the garage. 5 liters of coolant was drained into a bucket for refilling. I also brought Permatex 22071 RTV to glue in the gasket. So far so good, the machine is quiet. I hope my review helps someone.
