I bought this drive with Blu-ray DVD playback software on my PC. The drive appears to be a good unit. After a very long download process, the supplied software is outdated and does not support Blueray. A $60 upgrade is required instead. At best, it seems like a scam and a waste of time. Unlike the previous Pioneer drive I bought earlier this week, the optical drive driver loads automatically and seems to work fine. The drive I ordered earlier this week is no longer supported by Pioneer. This is one of those rare occasions when I go to my local electronics store rather than Revain.
