I really, really, really wanted to like this. A tie-dye collar for my favorite dog in my favorite colors? What's not to like? Well, our dog likes to run through the sprinkler and I couldn't figure out why it smelled "musty" after a while. And finally I realized the smell was coming from the collar. On all the dogs I've had I usually use regular nylon collars without Problems - water or not. But this one will smell musty when it gets wet. And I've tried everything I can to get rid of the musty smell - for a moment. But as soon as it goes through the sprinklers again the collar molds again I suspect that the collar cannot dry completely as it is made of a thicker material than normal nylon so it will mold.Also if the dog dries out where the collar is folded in half it will start to dry to smell mold. Not good. Hopefully they find a way to fix it. Because I really liked the collar. Luckily I can still use the leash without any problems, but the collar really needs an overhaul!
