Review on πŸ”„ Enhanced Performance: SUNLU Filament Printing Dehydrator 2.0 by Corey Krull

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Currently working great in additive manufacturing Products

I noticed that my PLA filaments became very brittle after a few weeks of use. They'll also begin to crack, which is a classic sign of moisture. I chose one of these dryers. So far I'm very happy I did it. Pros: 1) According to my digital humidity monitor (hygrometer?), it definitely seems to be doing its job after leaving the filament there for a few hours. 2) easy to use (this has one downside which I will address below) 3) it seems to be made strong and durable 4) the hole in the front can be used to insert the filament into the PTFE tube and to lead directly to the extruder. This minimizes exposure to a highly hygroscopic material like nylon. Although I haven't tried it yet. Cons: 1) Useless product instructions 2) By default, the dryer turns itself off after 6 hours. So if you want it to stay on while printing a large article, you'll have to figure out how to change that setting, which isn't very intuitive. Overall, I would recommend it to anyone printing in a humid environment.
