DOA 1 Month After Warranty / Yale Assure Lock Touch Brushed Nickel Keyboard (YRD226NR619)

Yale Assure Lock Brushed Nickel Touchscreen Keyboard (YRD226NR619). Bought late March 2018 and DOA late April 2019. The keyboard (or something with the circuit board) died 1 month after the warranty expired. No signs of death just DOA when he got home. Battery low blinks, keyboard flickers. The batteries were two months old. Changed batteries 3 times, reset to factory settings 3 times. Still keyboard issues, kept talking about low battery and flickering bar. Luckily it's a keyed model so I was able to enter the house. They would be happy if the same problem appeared on a keyless model. It was installed on a door in a closed corridor of a high-rise building. No weather problems. Just a complete failure for no reason. Updated May 3; Contacted tech support which appears to be a third party (August team). A specific keyboard is not working and needs to be replaced. it was saturday The email with the shipping information should be no later than Wednesday. It's Friday and there is no information. When I email back to the team in August, it results in a scripted email asking me to contact customer support, option 1. When I do this (during business hours) I get direct to voicemail. Left 3 messages in 3 days and still no reply. Will never buy a Yale POS lock again.
