Not as good as before
Can be said if products change over the years. Before that I bought 5 of these from a pet store 9 years ago. Now I have them and not only do they feel like they won't last long, but they also don't remove algae from glass. I have to go through certain locations more than once. I would recommend the sponge though as it performs best compared to others on the market.
