Review on Earls 351010 Pro Lite Nylon 10AN by Tyler Vaughn

Revainrating 5 out of 5

More flexible and easier to use than braided stainless steel hose

This is my first time making -AN hoses and I chose this hose for its flexibility and tight bend radius. How glad I am that I chose this hose! Using Earl's tips and the Koul Tool (a bit more expensive but worth it) I quickly made the oil cooler hoses. No leaks, no problems. Since then I've watched friends and acquaintances struggle to make braided stainless steel tubing and it's been a nightmare. It's very easy to cut this hose at a right angle and the outer braid is easy to control and doesn't make as much mess as stainless steel, not to mention it won't ruin your engine if a few strands go AWOL . By the way, rust-free filaments are bad news for your engine or your eyes.

Pros
  • Abrasion resistant nylon jacket
Cons
  • Hard to tell
