Dimensions don't match information

I ordered a 16" slide with a 16" extension and planned for that. As delivered they are 15.75 long with a 15.25" extension. Folks, just tell me that initially. I can react to the difference, but I planned and documented for 16".BTW these appear stout enough and well built otherwise. Order before you do your drawings
