I do quality professional refinishing primarily as a hobby that has turned into a profitable side project that I could do more of if I wanted to. I've been using Farecla G360 for a few years, but it's a bit pricey. Some of the jobs I've done have taken me over 50 hours and they consume more than you think as many of you know. I'm on a different level than detail/exploratory work. I won't touch the inside no matter how much money they offer me. My things, yes, but I give them to the public. I leave that job to the sellers. In any case, primarily nobody who does not have the faintest idea what lies behind a proper paint restoration or even polish. In any case, I figured it was time I found a good product for less than $50 a bottle. I have used 3m products in the past. Your material is fine for mending, but not for panel work, and it's overpriced. It's not much rougher than the commercially available Meguiar's Compound. Well I stumbled across this while looking for a wax that our dealer used in the mid 90's. Banana Flash Wax. I can see it's Cherry now, but it looks the same. I read some good reviews and thought why not. Received it yesterday and recently bought a nice 12 year old Cruze from the same owner with good paint except it had big scratches from the polish from using the car wash brush. Today I only tried it with DA and a microfiber pad. I made a suitcase and I was blown away. It's just as good, if not better than Farekla. It has a long degradation time that allows you to really work with the color. If you're looking for the best color correction compound, look no further. It is great. I highly recommend it. Can't wait to get something really oxidized and try it with a rotor and bad hair. I added the new Meguiar finish wax to the compound and then Collinite 476. You use this formula and you literally make cars light up. Karnuba is the only way. This new ceramic/graphene craze is just a craze. I have not been completely satisfied with any of the ones I have used and have tried almost all of them. As said, this material is the best mix for big color touch ups, wet sanding etc.
