Review on ๐Ÿ“ฑ Sena SRL Shoei Neotech II Bluetooth Communication System: Enhanced Motorcycle Connectivity by Chad Cross

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Better than 20 but still not great.

Fitted to the new Shoei Neotec 2 helmet Installation was easy and the SRL system fitted perfectly. My previous helmet was the Shoei Air GT which was very quiet and went well with the Sena 20S which I upgraded to. I upgraded speakers in the 1920's by soldering a couple of Thunder Claps into them. This was a huge improvement. Bluetooth integration on BMW bikes isn't the best (my bike is a 2016 K1600GT). Playback from iPod is very good, but poor Bluetooth integration got worse in the 20's. The new SRL has made major improvements in this regard. No hum or hiss, just good sound. There is still a big gap in the bass range, but overall the sound is good. Just good, not great. I can speak very well and hear phone calls, hear talk shows like FoxNews well, listen to music and hear texts. Overall satisfaction is good considering I knew what to expect from my experience in the 20's. SRL improved this and is a good buy. I like chatting and listening to music so it's good for those purposes.

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • Modern
