While the design is good, the materials and finish leave a lot to be desired. First, the flexible connection between the guard and the handlebar mount makes alignment much easier BUT this part was not threaded properly and the bolt popped out before the handguard was tightened. I had to buy a 6mm tap before I could install this part. Another issue is that the bar mount was universal, accommodating a variety of bar diameters BUT the aluminum used was not strong enough or thick enough to not clamp the bar tight enough without significantly bending the clip.
