Review on ๐Ÿ›ฅ๏ธ Long-lasting Marine Upholstery: Un-Backed Automotive Trim Carpet | Mini Roll (72" x 36") in Charcoal by Rick Everett

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Nice black color for the back panel but folding leaves some unwanted creases.

Good replacement material for back carpet. Need something without a thick pad as the speakers are under the carpet. This is what the factory facilities looked like before they were destroyed by the Texas sun. Hope this stuff holds up. The complaint, like other reviewers, mentioned that instead of just rolling the rug, it folds it three times and then rolls it. I think it makes it easier to roll clean and straight. Unfortunately, this leaves two large creases in the carpet. It was too big to leave in the sun and not be blown away by the wind. I didn't want to try an iron or anything on that type of material. If I could pull hard and force it, maybe I could stretch the crease. But since the base is made out of resin on a 20 year old machine, I didn't want to risk breaking it. You can see the second crease in the rug that started from the first crease, the rug forked when I had to fold it at a 90 degree angle. It might not be noticeable at an angle, but if you don't... well, okay. It looks a lot better with the crease than the old crumbling carpet that was there.

Pros
  • Best in class
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options
