I live by the beach so rust is a big problem where I live. After a false start with sellers claiming they were selling "stainless steel" sprocket bolts, which were actually chrome plated mild steel, I consulted a few experts (on my LBS and online) and decided to try aluminum alloy bolts. They fit perfectly and were exactly what I needed. The silver finish goes really well with my cranks (which are silver car wheels) and contrasts nicely with the black sprockets. Another milestone was reached with the restoration of my '91 Trek 720 MT!
