Bolt too short for parts and components

I'm disappointed because the size of the bolts is too short, it's uncertain, you can see in the photo the size of my bike's original bolts compared to these bolts . The quality of the material is normal, I don't know about the strength.

Pros
  • Easy to assemble durable
Cons
  • Modern

Works better than OEM

I used these sprocket bolts to replace the bolts on my Shimano Ultegra crankset. They seem to have tighter tolerances than the originals. My old ones were loose to the point where my Allen wrench wouldn't hold. They require a smaller hex size but work very well.

Pros
  • M8 x 8.5mm bolts, M8 x 6.5mm nuts, Nuts Shaft diameter: 10mm
Cons
  • The list goes on.

Just what I need

I live by the beach so rust is a big problem where I live. After a false start with sellers claiming they were selling "stainless steel" sprocket bolts, which were actually chrome plated mild steel, I consulted a few experts (on my LBS and online) and decided to try aluminum alloy bolts. They fit perfectly and were exactly what I needed. The silver finish goes really well with my cranks (which are silver car wheels) and contrasts nicely with the black sprockets. Another milestone was reached…

Pros
  • Multiple anodized colors available Black/Red/Gold/Blue/Green/Silver
Cons
  • Not bad but...
