The learn button on my Overhead Garage Door broke, and a repair technician pointed me to the lift master brand universal receiver. I wouldn’t have known these exist and thought I had to pay big bucks to get a whole new garage door motor. I tried the lift master brand unit but it’s range is so limited it’s non functional. I then replaced it with this Genie unit and presto, I have a fully functional garage door like new! I also got the pair of additional genie GTR remotes which programmed and work fine. If yr learning button or receiver portion of ur garage door is not working, this is an awesome product to save you some major dollars. I took one star off only because the power supply does not come assembled and you have to attach the wire to its terminal screws. It could be designed to be more plug and play. But overall -awesome product that gets the job done!
