Supplied in bubble wrap, not in original packaging. The base was rough, jagged as if it had been placed on a rough surface or had been used, the jug had scratches and dull spots on the inside. There were cracks at the bottom of the jar. This glass has obviously been used, probably a return, and was sold new for $50! Addendum to the review. Bought another. As with the first it developed a crack leading to leaks, as with the first the kitchen counter under the jug was always wet after the crack developed. Remember before you buy one, if you do, check it often.
