Review on 🍞 Norpro Bread Slicer with Crumb Catcher Brown - Effortlessly Slice Bread with Precision! by Robert Carlson

Revainrating 2 out of 5

The uneven slices don't look bad after spending the money on them.

I was very very hesitant to purchase this product after reading the reviews but it was half the price of the next cheapest I was then able to find what I liked and bought it during a 4 in 3 kitchen promotion so I figured why not. I bought it to save money and eat better. I baked all our bread except sandwich bread because I just couldn't cut the bread evenly enough. I paid big bucks to buy bread that didn't have high fructose corn syrup. I figured if it worked I could save money by baking all our bread. I have this Sunbeam 5891 2lb Programmable Bread Maker and the 2lb loaf wobbles from side to side as it slices, but it's tall enough to go over the rails. You need rubber at the bottom so that it doesn't slip when cutting. I have a very long bread knife, but it comes out of the guides easily. None of the guides have broken yet, but after reading the reviews I'm very careful with them. It's very pretty but not very well designed. Pay twice as much if you have to, it's better than spending money on it.
