I have a Focal Kx2 on an Alpine PDR-f50 and an American Bass 12 on an Alpine MRV-m1200. I made all high quality oxygen free cables from 100% copper. I tried using these cables because I thought they matched the quality of everything else I've made, at least from the description. Well they don't. The fit of these plugs is very loose. My bass at a moderate setting rocked them straight away. I've tried prying open the connector with a thin mini screwdriver and squeezing the outside of the connector to no avail. Also, I got a little hum, and the noise is unacceptable for my installation. I put a cheap $40 Walmart cable in its place and it fits snugly, the sound quality is arguably better and there's no hum. I changed the back side and the same result as before. I changed them again and everything is fine. I also bought two of these sets and both are the same. All cables followed the same path in the car.
