The sound is fantastic - RCA cable

They cost a little more than everyone else, but the sound quality is fantastic. If you are a sound lover and have money to spare, this is definitely for you.

I tried 2, a terrible rumble with a subwoofer

I thought the first one was defective because as soon as I connected it to the home theater subwoofer it started buzzing. I didn't even connect the other end to the one I received. When I did it was still buzzing. Sent it back and tried another one assuming the first one was defective, same problem. Don't buy for a routine. It might work fine for other RCA applications but I wouldn't trust it. Surprised by the positive reviews for this cable.

Good shielded cables at a great price

I bought 12ft and 20ft cables to connect a cassette deck to the bottom of my audio rack. So 12-foot cables fit perfectly; I've already adjusted the deckheads and noticed slightly better high frequency response compared to the unshielded cables I've used in the past. I was so impressed with it; I spent the day playing my old metal cassettes and probably looked like the guy in the Maxell cassette ad sitting in a chair.

Short lived and poor hum/interference pickup

This cable was fine for a few months, but then it started picking up a large amount of hum out of nowhere. I have used this to connect a keyboard to a Roland Quad-Capture at home, the cable has never moved or frayed. It's very bad when a wire that isn't even touched shorts out. I see many reviewers saying they bought this for car amps. I would think twice considering how much fun it is to pull a wire out of a car audio system and replace it.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • No instructions

cheap as hell, will avoid next time.

They were very poorly made. I received them to complete the installation on my truck. I use my pair to connect an EQ/preamp to a mid/high amp. I've used high level inputs before and it's been shaky at best. After about 2 weeks the shells started to separate from the connectors exposing the internal wires. There's no stress for them, but due to my old truck and other accessories I use, I get noise on these lines at low volume. They were not insulated as advertised and very poorly finished. After

Works great for monoline conversion!

Single Outlet to Dual Outlet Adapter Review: I used one of these to convert the mono RCA subwoofer output on my aftermarket Android head unit to a dual RCA line with a longer RCA line that runs through the car, connected from there and it works fine. It was the first receiver I've ever seen to use a single RCA output for an auxiliary signal, and I didn't feel good about trying to run it just on the left or right amp line. Also, after reading the manual for my JL Audio mono subwoofer, they…

Garbage. Nice but didn't even last 4 months.

I ordered it on March 1st. On June 18 he died. I have this to connect my digital DJ controller to my mixer in my home studio. As soon as he was there, he was there. No undue strain on cables or connectors, no repetitive movements, none of the things that would normally cause a cable to break. The left channel didn't show up on the mixer yesterday - the cable was the last thing I suspected as it's so new, but after extensive troubleshooting on the controller itself and the computer it was…

  • Big and bulky

I have a Focal Kx2 on an Alpine PDR-f50 and an American Bass 12 on an Alpine MRV-m1200. I made all high quality oxygen free cables from 100% copper. I tried using these cables because I thought they matched the quality of everything else I've made, at least from the description. Well they don't. The fit of these plugs is very loose. My bass at a moderate setting rocked them straight away. I've tried prying open the connector with a thin mini screwdriver and squeezing the outside of the…

I have an old SONY tape recorder. I had it professionally serviced at a place that does a really good job of bringing old vintage audio gear back to life. Well I brought my Sony Reel to Reel cassette deck back from the store and everything was fine except for an annoying hum that made me really sick. The buzzing was enough to ruin my enjoyment of the tape recorder. I used those cheap red and white RCA plugs that you get as original accessories with almost all new audio equipment. But I didn't…
