This is the first silicone toilet brush I've used and still can't decide on one. The stiff, thick bristles penetrate well under the toilet rim and are strong, but they don't foam the toilet cleaner and don't cover the surface being cleaned very well. However, the included flat brush has standard fine bristles that lather well, clean the top of the bowl better than the curved brush, and cover the cleaning area quickly and thoroughly. I suppose the advantage of the short silicone bristles is that they can remove the toilet dirt a little easier, but a flat brush is better for scrubbing surfaces. The kit is light and easy to assemble, mostly made of plastic and inexpensive.
