My SUV's paintwork isn't in the best condition and honestly needs an update. I bought this item because I wanted to exhaust all options before proceeding with the repaint and I have to say it did a pretty good job as you can see in the picture. Right "before", left "after". The unit is very solidly constructed from machined aluminum and the bearings inside are very smooth. I think this is a great option for car owners who will be using this once or twice a year. If you plan on detailing the car on a larger scale, there are probably better options. My biggest complaint about this item is that the foam heads are unnecessarily expensive at $9-$12 for a two-pack and don't last as long.
