Drawer slide does not clear open drawer

I had to tighten the hinge all the way to get the slide past the drawer but it still rubbed. Because it fit through the door as tightly as possible, it could not be adjusted so that the box was flush with the opposite door. The seller said to make a 9mm spacer to fit behind the rail and then shrink the (already made) drawers. If I were Mickey Mouse I still wouldn't dare!
