I looked at reviews of several Wi-Fi routers and found that this one offered performance at a reasonable price. The signal strength was not what I expected, but to be honest, these expectations are based on my previous experience with the router and are not scientifically proven. I needed a strong signal because of my doorbell. The charging of the doorbell's two batteries is affected by the signal strength of the WLAN connection. More signal means the battery stays charged indefinitely. low signal level, the battery is slowly discharging. This router barely has enough power to keep a doorbell happy. By the way, this is my second, the first one just died one day without warning, the warranty period has expired, the repair cost more than the second. If this device fails I will spend a lot more money for a device with a lot more power.
