Routers would be nice but the updated Revain products haven't updated properly. Both routers had serious defects and I can't tell if it was an Asus update or a Revain update. However, one router would fail every minute and then the other would fail to resolve the host, making connectivity between the devices impossible. Very disappointing with the stability of the router, the cause remains to be seen, but the router drops below 1Mbps after a few hours of use and sometimes recovers (both wireless and wired speeds). I only tried this setup as a hotspot as I really needed that. This was the same behavior after upgrading the ASUS firmware to the latest ASUSwrt and replacing the OEM thermal pads with a larger area of more efficient thermal pads.
