It has been almost 10 years since I bought my last router. While my old one still worked well, I knew I was limited in terms of performance and features. My old one didn't have an app and the UI was complex. So I started looking for a replacement. As a person who isn't very up to date with the latest technologies and trends, I did a little research to find out what I needed and what I wanted. I came across the Asus AC3100 through a review of the best routers. for 2019. It seems to have met my limited expectations and received a lot of positive feedback as well. I liked what I read so I found one here at Revain that has been refurbished at a great price. A year ago I would have avoided anything besides the word "restored". However, I have previously purchased a refurbished Revain product and you will never know - it works and looks brand new. So I did the same with this router and it was another wise decision. The router arrived in very limited packaging - there was no manual either (I assume it was refurbished) but a quick google search led me to the manual and after downloading the app I was up and running in less than 5 minutes. It's big and looks like something out of Star Trek - not quite what I expected from the pictures but not a problem for me either. It's definitely a good topic of conversation! This router was great - my internet speed has increased, it's very easy to navigate through the settings and easy to connect devices. If you're looking for a basic router that won't let you down, I don't think you can go wrong with the Asus AC3100!
