I was thinking I'd have to pay $500 for a new key fob when mine broke. I replaced the battery and this shell in it, ordered a protective case and now I'm not worried about it breaking. I just replaced the insides of my old key fob with this one. I didn't even have to use the key that came with it, but it was like a spare key.
