Review on Precisebuilt 120 960 1 4 11 1 Torque Wrench by Blake Clemons

Makes work economical

I bought a torque wrench for the first time; I removed a cap screw from a small, relatively new 6hp Tohatsu outboard. (10 hrs); The bolt was very tight and I decided to buy a torque wrench to make sure I was tightening the bolt to specification. I found the tool useful, much better than looking for a "feel" and ending up with a blown head gasket. The tool looks and feels solid and I am assuming the tool is factory calibrated per the information provided. I bought this inexpensive tool to balance between getting the job done right and removing the head gasket because I wasn't tightening the bolt properly. I think the tool was a cheaper option for the job.

Pros
  • Power tools and hand tools
Cons
  • All right
