Review on ASUS ProArt Display Monitor PA278CV: High Performance 75Hz πŸ–₯️ IPS LED Display with Adjustable Height, Pivot, Tilt, and Flicker-Free Technology by Charles Wijaya

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Damn great performance

Picture quality and colors are excellent, 4k resolution delivers very high resolution on a 27 inch screen size. Although it makes the icons and text tiny as hell. The base is good and heavy, doesn't slide much, and the screen has a large height range and can rotate 45 degrees left or right without the base moving. For some people, the portrait rotation feature might be more useful... but even for those who don't use this feature, it makes plugging and unplugging cables easier. I also use it to watch movies and shows streamed from my iPad and the fact that it has speakers makes that possible. USB-C straight from the iPad to this display (and it charges the iPad while it's playing), then the audio-out jack to a better set of speakers. You can connect a variety of inputs, 2 HDMIs, USB-C, DisplayPort and easily switch between sources whether it's a game console, iTV, iPad or iPhone and whatever else you have. The only question I have is if I would be happier with the 32 inch version.

Pros
  • Extensive connectivity including DP over USB-C with 65W power delivery, DisplayPort, HDMI, USB 3.1 hub
Cons
  • nutritional problems. If the monitor's power supply is not working properly, it may cause the display to flicker or turn off.
