Bought a year ago after a heavy snow storm. Got them after I really needed them but checked for fit. This year, after another heavy snowfall, I applied them. They were properly installed. I drove about 200 meters at slow speed and checked again. One was fine, but the other had pulled a couple of wires out of brass fittings. It turned out that the metal collapsed under stress. I was lucky to stop earlier as the cables could damage the brake line. $100 wasted. They are technically under warranty, but I have to pay the shipping costs for the return. That's well past Prime's return window. I had to follow my first instinct and got an automatic sock instead.
