Review on ACDelco 3604 Advantage Crankshaft Front by Curtis Thilges

Fit a Ford 8.8 Rear Axle Diff Oil Seal to your Mustang. No problems with the Gartner spring popping out during installation. The OEM Ford gasket was old and worn, allowing the diff to spit out guts. No more leaking with this seal. Time will tell if this seal holds. Will update if diff starts leaking again but happy so far. Update: Upgrade to 3 stars from 5 stars. Unfortunately after 1 year the seal started leaking again which was confirmed after I noticed a slight smell of burning diff fluid coming from hot exhaust pipes after driving the car and putting it on a lift for inspection. In addition, the failure of the AC Delco belt tensioner (cast aluminum arm broke while driving). My experience with AC Delco parts for non-GM vehicles has been mediocre at best. I installed the parts while working as a professional mechanic and following all industry recommendations in the shop.
