I bought this £1 sample to help my 60+ year old chicks get through a terribly hot and rainy summer in Florida. Good things first: Easy to mix up, the chickens liked the taste and showed a noticeable increase in appetite. Possibly some fly reduction as well but I don't have many flies and they are already dying with cooler nights so I'm not sure if it will benefit others but it might. If you have chickens, your fly reduction protocol needs to be done in a different way anyway. The Bad: Within a week, several of my cocks started sneezing and one vomited. Conclusion: I should have read the ingredients but in my long search for a product to boost the immunity of my herds I was confused by all the claims and didn't read the ingredients in this particular product. I trusted the brand in Google search results due to their long history of chicken knowledge. If I saw DE on the list I wouldn't buy it. You can see DE's smoke-like plume when you mix it with the food. So you breathe it the way your chickens breathe. I saw they were a size 5lb and would order because there seems to be an advantage and I'd like to continue the test but my cocks started sneezing and Fernando started snooping around. DE violates the terms of the contract. Represents the brand in a completely different light.
