I love giving my chickens extra natural supplements as a preventative. I use this product with fresh eggplant and my chickens love it! I ferment their food and they fall back to breakfast, jumping up and down trying to get to the food while I set up the tray. After research and calculations I found that an adult duck needs 45mg of niacin per kg of feed. Since an adult duck requires 0.120 kg of feed per day, this means that the daily dose of niacin for an adult duck is 5.4 mg. This product contains 2mg of niacin per scoop. Good things first: Easy to mix up, the chickens liked the taste and showed a noticeable increase in appetite.
