Review on CDN DTP482 Digital Programmable Thermometer by Stephanie Burke

I ordered one of these programmable thermometers for my girlfriend and she was so happy with it that she ordered it for herself. This will make my cooking a lot easier. Haven't been able to use it yet. My only complaint so far is that the magnet they sent isn't strong enough to hold the thermometer to my range hood. I'll find a stronger magnet to attach to the hood so it's at eye level. The plastic case feels a little flimsy, but it seems to do everything it claims to do. I plan to check the accuracy in a day or two. UPDATE: For some reason the probe cable suddenly stopped connecting well with the thermometer. I contacted the manufacturer and they immediately sent me a new sensor unit. I'm back in business. These guys have VERY good customer service! I love this block! Because I don't know how to "feel" my steak to determine the right degree of doneness. This helps me get the perfect medium rare every time. I definitely recommend this product and this company to everyone.
